CLARIFICATIONS ON ISSUES RAISED REGARDING TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF EQUIPMENT FOR SEYCHELLES INCUBATION CENTRE- REFERENCE: CS/IAD/1400/2(035 – 22)

QUESTION ONE:We are potential bidder and we have gone through the tender bidding document. We wish to bit for Lot 3 – Juice- jam Equipment and Lot 4 for plumbing and electrical. All the prices for sn. 1-13 are ex-works. There are other costs e.g sea freight, insurance, air-ticket, installation, training etc. Kindly advise where we are supposed to put them. For Bid Submission Form section (c). Is the total price of the bid going to include the above charges not included in the bidding documents. We appreciate your attention on this matter and kindly request that necessary clarification be provided.

Response:

Kindly refer to ITB 13.5 Section II of the Bidding Data Sheet (BDS).
The Incoterm used is Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) at the address indicated therein.
The supplier shall indicate all costs that would facilitate supply and delivery of items to the mentioned delivery point. These costs should be clearly indicated under the price and completion schedule and the same total amounts shall be disclosed under Section C of the Bid Submission Form.
The Client will provide Duty exemption certificates to support customs clearance and import of goods into the country.  

QUESTION TWO: We ask you kindly to specify the expected terms of payment for goods supplied from abroad.
